We took a look at the two lounges that will become available for public health students and put in our ideas for furniture, etc. One is for food and the other for recreation, etc. We won't know for a while how much money is available to pay for new furniture, TVs and fun stuff.
It sounds like the med school is also feeling the push for accreditation (though theirs is a renewal) so they want it to look nice and be used.
The lounges will not be available to public health students until the locks are changed and a new code is released. This could take another week or two. I brought up the point that public health students don't really have a place to study, well besides that lovely space in the middle of the D-courtyard offices and it sounded like finding that space may be a possibility but it will have to be brought up to the dean. Thats about it.
