Mr. Yoshina gave an overview of what occurred Sept 11th and shortly afterwards. He also explained the post 11th initiatives of the state civil defense.
Critical Infrastructure Protection Lists, Joint Assessments, and Threat Level Conditions: More than 100 "critical infrastructure assets" have been assessed by the HPD and military to ensure their security. All sites in Oahu have been surveyed and by the end of the month all Neighbor Island sites should be surveyed.
He also explained a new 'civilian' threat level condition which they will be using. White to Green to Amber to Red to Black depending on the danger. Currently in is at Green. Even though there were some problems and confusion resulting from the chaos on the 11th, the State is and has been working to fix any difficulties they've found and because of an extraordinary level of cooperation among federal, state, local and private organizations they feel much more comfortable with the state of readiness in Hawaii.
