Wanted--Statistical assistant for a 4-month public health study. The
assistant should have completed at least two statistics and research
methods courses in a social science department. The assistant must work
with data that may be modeled as time series processes, repeated measures,
or panel data. The data involves predicting the likelihood of an outcome,
given an array of prior events. Knowledge of the models appropriate to
working with rates, counts, and logistic probabilities is essential. The
assistant should have sufficient working knowledge of any one of the
statistical packages SAS, SPSS or STATA to code necessary models in the
package, given a general description of the hypotheses or structures to be
tested.
